Sportfishing’s Trade Show is a Member of the
“Fastest 50 Class of 2014”
ICAST recognized as one of the fastest growing shows in the U.S. in three categories
Alexandria, VA – February 25, 2015 – The International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades, better known as ICAST, has earned three top rankings on Trade Show Executive’s (TSE) annual Fastest 50 list. Produced by the American Sportfishing Association (ASA), ICAST is the world’s largest sportfishing trade show, hosting more than 11,000 representatives from the global sportfishing community.
Each year, TSE honors the 50 fastest-growing shows in three categories: net square feet of paid exhibit space, number of exhibiting companies and total attendance. ICAST was one of only 16 trade shows that were the fastest-growing across all three categories. TSE based its recognition on each show’s 2014 numbers over the previous year.
According to TSE, “earning a place on the TSE Fastest 50 ranking is a result of hard work in all facets of show planning, marketing and execution. The people behind these shows are making things happen, and the Fastest 50 Awards & Summit is the time when they take their well-earned bow to their peers, colleagues and friends.” The awards will be presented in May during TSE’s annual Fastest 50 Awards & Summit being held in Chicago, Ill.
“Each year, there are literally thousands of trade shows that take place throughout the U.S. and North America,” said ICAST Trade Show Director Ken Andres. “To be one of only 16 shows to be recognized in all three categories is rare and a great honor. On behalf of the sportfishing industry, I want to thank TSE for this recognition.”
Andres further said, “ICAST’s growth is a direct result of our value-added efforts which includes incorporating expanded networking opportunities and product demonstrations to world-class business development seminars for buyers and exhibitors.”
ICAST will be held July 14 – 17, 2015, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
