Registration Fee for the Media-Editorial Badge
ICAST offers unparalleled access to manufacturers and their products along with business seminars and networking opportunities that you won’t find anywhere else. However, we have seen an increase in non-professional media registering for the show in the Media-Editorial category.
First and foremost, we invite all media representatives to attend ICAST. Your coverage of the new tackle introduced at the show is extremely important to the recreational fishing industry.
We will do all we can to accommodate your needs to help ensure that you have a productive show experience.
The Media-Editorial Badge
The Media-Editorial badge fee is $100. The onsite fee is $150.
Media-Editorial badges for ASA’s media members and their employees are complimentary.
Media-Editorial badges are also complimentary for current members of bona fide outdoor media professional organizations on the state, regional and national levels.
Student and Corporate members in professional outdoor writer/media/communicators organizations do not automatically qualify for a Media-Editorial badge. Corporate members generally fall into the Media-Sales category.

Obtaining Media Credentials
Media credentials are issued to media representatives whose purpose is to write about the show, products and other ICAST-related events.
Marketing, public relations and advertising representatives do not qualify for press credentials. See the Media-Sales badge below. All Media-Editorial registrants are subject to verification by ASA staff.
Two-Step Registration Process for Obtaining Your Media Credentials
Step 1 – Please complete the ICAST Media Credentials Guidelines and application form, and submit your form with the requested supporting documentation by June 8, 2018.
Step 2 – Register for your Media Editorial badge. Everyone who wants to attend ICAST must register for a badge. In addition, registering for your badge also allows you to book housing at one of the official ICAST hotels. You will not be able to get housing in the ICAST block unless you register first.
Please note, housing is also contingent on ASA approval of your badge, so please see Step 1.
The Media-Sales Badge
If a media representative is from a media source (newspaper, magazine, broadcast, dot.com) but is in advertising sales, then he or she falls under the Media–Sales category and must register in that category and pay the respective member or non-member registration fee in order to attend ICAST.
The Media Sales badge also applies to marketing, public relations and sponsorship development.

Onsite Media Registration
Please note that until ASA receives the proper information/credentials to verify your badge request, your registration will not be processed and you will not be issued a badge.
You can provide credentials onsite, however, entrance is not guaranteed. Online registration and prior approval is to your advantage.
