ICAST’s expansive product demonstration area for buyers and media is better than ever this year! This event is open to ICAST buyers and credentialed media only.

On the Water is a key destination for buyers and media. It’s a perfect location for ICAST exhibitors to demonstrate their products for dealers and media representatives.

To accommodate more buyers and media, On the Water is again being held from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the North Building. There are a series of ponds for demonstrating casting and non-motorized fishing vessels.

On the Water is an excellent way for buyers and media, and other attendees, to check out gear, tackle and accessories.

Shuttle service is available between 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and will run every 30 minutes. Two coaches will cycle through the hotel route and drop-off/pick-up at the back of the North Building On the Water area.

ICAST Cup – Industry Bass Fishing Tournament
Presented by FLW

ICAST CupTuesday, July 9

Kissimmee Lakefront Park
69 Lakeview Drive, Kissimmee, Florida

Presented by FLW, each fishing team is paired with a media representative for an action-packed, four-hour bass-fishing “fish out” on Lake Toho.

The tournament features great prizes for top teams with the winners taking home the ICAST Cup. Each member of the winning team will receive a commemorative trophy.

If you didn’t register this year, please mark your calendar for 2019. This is one tournament you don’t want to miss.

The weigh-in takes place at Kissimmee Lakefront Park at approximately 9:00 a.m.

This one-of-a-kind tournament benefits the industry’s angler advocacy program, Keep America Fishing.

Bass & Birdies Classic
Presented by Florida Sportsman

It’s time to shoot some birdies, and catch some bass. Florida Sportsman magazine is partnering with the American Sportfishing Association for the return of Florida Sportsman’s Bass and Birdies Classic.

The golf is a Scramble–Best Ball format, meaning teams of four players hit each shot, and the best shot is selected. The three other players retrieve their balls, and hit from the best position, and the same until the hole is holed out.

However, on four designated holes, one team member will fish in bass hungry lakes while the other three play the scramble. The total length of bass will result in bonus points taken off the final golf score, so it pays to catch bass and make birdies.

The heavy emphasis on fun will include such contests as “Closest to the Pin” “Longest Drive” “Casting Contests” “Beat the Pro” and more.

All proceeds benefit Keep America Fishing.

The voting process will now be held over a two-day period. The first round of voting will take place on Tuesday, July 9, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. during the New Product Showcase Preview Reception.

Voting opens again from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, for Buyers and Media-Editorial only. The “Best of Category” winners will be announced during the New Product Showcase Awards Reception beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Voting for the Overall “Best of Show” Award

The second round of voting for the overall “Best of Show” will take place Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. – Noon in the New Product Showcase.

Buyers and Media-Editorial badge holders will have the opportunity to select one product from the 29 “Best of Category” winners.

The ICAST 2019 New Product Showcase “Best of Show” winner will then be announced at 2:00 p.m. in the New Product Showcase on the show floor.
